I have to admit that I've got the blogging bug. The more I blog, the more I want to blog. I started with one blog in October, 2011 and not long after I added another. Someday, I may run out of things to say on one of these blogs OR I'll get another idea and start another blog. Meanwhile, you can follow me at the links below. There are also links on the navigation bar of both my blogs.
My first blog. If you're reading this, then you already have some idea of what this blog is about. It is, first and foremost, intended to support other trauma survivors and people dealing with grief through useful information, stories from other survivors, healing poetry and music, and book and movie suggestions. (I like to think of this blog as a kind of light in the darkness or as a helping hand.) Some of the topics I've discussed on this blog are:
- Trauma
- PTSD
- Living with PTSD
- Living with Grief
- Coping with estrangement
- Healing
- Adoption healing
- Resilience
- Hope
- Kindness
- Survivor's stories
Note: This blog used to be called Sitting With Sorrow. I recently changed the blog name to Life After Trauma, which seems a better reflection of what I write about.
